WHY SHOULD YOU PAY FOR RADIO COMMERCIALS WHEN YOU CAN GET THEM FOR FREE?

 

Is it too obvious to say, "You get what you pay for?"  If you're an advertiser, all you have to do is imagine the roadblocks you face in getting people to listen to your message - and you'll never have a problem with paying for good radio advertising.

COMPETITION FOR YOUR MESSAGE   At Radio Works we approach each campaign assignment assuming that the advertiser has something to say.  After all, they usually have a current base of customers.  They’ve demonstrated some success at marketing.  And they’ve got a product or service that people are buying.  So what’s the big deal?  Well, unfortunately, very few advertising messages are compelling enough by themselves that you can just blurt them out.  Several factors complicate the process.  

- Your product has competition.  Unless you have something really unique, competitors are providing similar products or services and they’re making similar performance claims.             

- Your message has competition.  It will be only one of dozens the audience will hear during this listening stretch, all unsolicited. 

- Your environment has competition.  Your radio audience may not give you their full attention.  They may also be involved in traffic, in a conversation with another person, engaged in a task, or simply daydreaming.
